Mick Jagger created the Moog synth soundtrack for Invocation of my demon brother (1969) after Bobby Beausoleil, the original composer for Lucifer Rising absconded with several thousand dollars of filmmaker Kenneth Anger's money. According to Anger, Beausoleil had asked him for the loan of his van and the money to go buy vintage amps for use on the soundtrack. Beausoleil's trip to collect the amps went awry when the vehicle broke down outside the Manson family's residence at Spahn Ranch. Holy Helter Skelter Batman! The rest as they say is history. Beausoleil stayed on with the "family", murdering musician Gary Hinman and Anger never saw his money again. Lucifer Rising was eventually completed in 1972 with Beausoleil providing a completed soundtrack. Beausoleil continues to serve his life imprisonment sentence.
